Leaders Letter 26/08/09
. . . One of the big problems for the people of Israel after Joshua died was that there was a whole generation that had no personal experience of battle. Worse than that, a whole generation was growing up who “knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel” (Joshua 2:10).
We face a similar situation here in England at the moment. Many of the battles that were won in terms of financial provision, breakthroughs in healings, clarity in gospel preaching etc have been lost to our present generation, and are waiting to be recovered. But this will only happen as God’s church steps out in faith and takes the ground again.
This is a part of our present day mission – gaining practical experience and teaching it to the present generation. Would you like to join us on this mission? If you would, come along to KEGS on a Sunday morning at 10.30 am. Where you will find Spirit led worship and challenging preaching.
If you are one of those who don’t even know who God is, then now is the time to do something about that. The Bible tells us that those who diligently seek God eventually find him – and our experience is that finding a personal relationship with God puts everything else into perspective – life; death; career; relationships etc. etc. Isn’t it time you considered this important area of life before you get too much older?

| | | Diana Downes (Guest) | 31/01/2010 17:48 | I watched songs of praise every Sunday, but I have never been moved as much as I was tonight watching it from Kings Gate Church. It was so wonderful seeing all cultures worshiping together. I was brought up on the island of St Helena in a very close and christian family, and although I continue my faith, I have never been so in tune as I was listening to and watching songs of praise from Kings Gate.
